Thames River Valley & Chiltern Hills Tour from Oxford UK - 8 Hours

This full-day tour explores the beautiful, pleasant towns along the River Thames and a variety of homes situated in the lovely Chiltern Hills.

The tour departs Oxford and follows the course of the River Thames via Abingdon and Wallingford to Henley, home to the annual boating Regatta that attracts rowing teams from all over the world. Once in Henley, you will be able to walk along the river and through the town's center. The tour continues with a drive to Marlow, which includes a drive over the iron suspension bridge near the famous hotel, The Compleat Angler. Marlow is a splendid little town that has a wealth of nice shops on Main Street. Marlow is home to 5-time Olympic gold medalist rower Steve Redgrave, the only British Olympian to win gold medals at five consecutive Olympic Games.

The tour continues from Marlow into the lovely Chiltern Hills, passing quaint brick and flint cottages with thatched roofs and magnificent Tudor mansions that are partially hidden in the woods. You will also be able to visit Windsor Castle, the country home to Queen Elizabeth and the largest castle in the country. A boat tour on the River Thames can also be included on the full-day tour.

Tour vehicles are designed to enable you to travel in spacious luxury for up to six people. They are air-conditioned and fitted with a cooler stocked with complimentary drinks.

Tour includes hotel pick-up and drop-off at Oxford hotels. Rates are in US Dollars and are per person. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-887-2860. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
